Laphroaig 10 Year Old has been distilled the same way for 75 years. the malted barley is dried over an Islay peat fire where it gets its particularly rich flavour. It’s taste is first bold and smoky, followed by a hint of seaweed and a surprising sweetness. This full-bodied variant is the foundation of all Laphroaig expressions and comes with a long finish. malted barley is dried over a peat fire. The smoke from this peat, found only on Islay, gives Laphroaig its particularly rich flavour.
